Wyatt Sutter

Wyatt Sutter is a Chicago based interdisciplinary artist with primary interests in dance and carpentry. They began their dance training in 2013 with Larry Southall at Streetside Studios in Colorado. While attending Columbia College Chicago, where they graduated with a BA in Cultural Studies and a minor in dance in 2024, Wyatt resumed their dance training with focuses in House, West African and Modern/Contemporary dance training. Wyatt has gone on to perform with groups such as BraveSoul Movement and Chicago Dance Crash in Chicago and around the Midwest, and was selected to perform their own choreographed work, entitled “How are we boundless? Where are we free?” with Charles Pierson and Breslin Webb at the 2024 Battery Dance Festival in New York City. Wyatt is continuing is dance and performance career with a larger focus on combining their interests in dance and fabrication by designing and building physical environments for dance to take place within.
